Sensei Steve France

Chief Instructor - 3rd Dan
Sensei Steve France began training in the art of Atemi
Jiu~Jitsu in 1999 at Unstone Dojo under the instruction
of Shihan Michael Holden.
Sensei Steve rose to 1st Kyu (Brown Belt Black Stripe)
in 2000, and was awarded the rank of Shodan (1st Dan) in
December 2001.
For the following two years, Sensei Steve became more
involved with the Academy, showing commitment and dedication,
and was duly awarded the rank of Nidan (2nd Dan) in November
2003.
Sensei Steve was appointed assistant coach (Level One)
by the BJJA(GB) in February 2006, and appointed First Aider
in November 2006.
Continuing to work within the Academy, Sensei Steve has
proven to be in invaluable member of the team. In November
2006, during the Awards Night ceremony, Sensei Steve was
presented with the grade of Sandan (3rd Dan).
In November 2009, Sensei Steve achieved the recognised
status of Coach (Level 3) by the BJJA(GB).
